BiLevel Machines are a variation of Positive Airway Pressure (PAP) therapy and are capable of delivering pressure at two different, preset levels - one for inspiration and one for expiration.
This method provides relief for certain patients that have difficulty exhaling against the pressure provided by a traditional single pressure machine.
Although considerably more expensive to buy, BiLevel devices provide a viable option for many choosing to avoid a more invasive treatment.
